Kidstreet News is a monthly guide to activities in the Baltimore/ Washington area geared to families and children. It was started in 1984 by a small group of moms who wanted to be able to find suitable things to do with their children without having to subscribe to several newspapers and sift through all the information on activities for adults.

Each issue is divided into sections to help parents find the type of activity they are looking for.
Events- festivals, fairs and community events with family entertainment.
Shows - musical and theatrical shows with appropriate content where children are welcome.
At the Library - story times and other events at local libraries.
Museums News - exhibitions and activities at museums that would be of interest to families and children.
Nature - programs, walks and activities at nature centers and parks that are geared for children.
Parents - information on various parenting groups.
In addition there is information on classes and sports events in the central Maryland area.

We also publish guides to area resources within our distribution area.
