Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra.New Member Auditions for the 2009/10 season of the Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra will take place on August 22 and 29 and September 5 and 12, 2009, at CCBC Catonsville, Fine and Performing Arts Building, Q121. Audition information is on their website http://www.myso.info. The orchestra will be starting its 46th season conducted by its founder Angelo Gatto. The orchestra provides the opportunity for talented young musicians to learn and perform major symphonic repertoire. .

Howard County Center for the Arts, 8510 High Ridge Road, Ellicott City, Md. The Arts Council offers classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults. Fall classes begin September 21 and run through November 14.
