Alexandria’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
, March 6, beginning at 12:15 pm, down King Street, Old Town Alexandria VA.  Every year the St. Patrick's Day Parade activities begin with the Fun Dog Show in Market Square. Dress up your dog and win prizes. After the show, the owners and dogs are invited to lead the parade as it marches down King Street. The parade will feature many units and runs about 1hour and 45 minute. In addition, the 2010 Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade Classic Car Show will be held in the 100 block of North Pitt Street, Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

City of Gaithersburg St. Patrick's Day Parade, March 13, 10am – noon, at Washingtonian Center (I-370 and Washingtonian Boulevard. Dozens of units will march in the parade, including Celtic dancers, bagpipe bands, clowns, fire trucks, and more. When the parade is over there will be live music by the Martin Family Band and family activities in the plaza area until 1 p.m. The Grand Marshals for this year’s parade are both Irish-American authors; nationally acclaimed Alice McDermott and local author and musician Danny Costello. The National ShamrockFest, March 13, 1- 9pm,  RFK Stadium and Grounds, Washington DC, is the largest Saint Paddy's festival in the Mid-Atlantic Region, featuring more than 40 live bands and DJ's and endless party zones & activities. Enjoy a day-long festival of Rock, Irish, Blues, Retro and Folk music, as well as food, drinks and dozens of outrageous activities. National ShamrockFest features over 40 bands and DJs on 10 stages plus roving entertainers, endless beer stations, food and craft vendors, an Irish Village, Shamrock Pub Games, carnival rides & games, massive tented and open areas, and much, much more. food, beverage and craft vendors. The Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Sunday March 14, 2pm. Baltimore's St. Patrick Parade is truly the jewel in Maryland's emerald crown. For more than 50 years, thousands of spectators from the region have crowded the streets and sidewalks of downtown Baltimore and the famous Inner Harbor to watch thousands more march and celebrate Irish culture, music, song, and dance. The Shamrock 5K race begins at 1:15 p.m. at Charles and Franklin Streets. The Parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Monument, and continues to Pratt Street and Market Place. The Washington D.C. St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Sunday, March 14, at 12:00 Noon, and will proceed down Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Streets, N.W Washington DC. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the best attended parades in Washington.  The Parade is 2 ½ hours. Grandstand tickets are available.  The grandstands are a great way to watch the parade.  They are located adjacent to the judge's reviewing stand.  This guarantees that performing groups will not just pass you by - you'll get to see them at their best, performing for the judges.  And you'll get to watch from a comfortable, elevated, vantage point with nearby restroom facilities. St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, Saturday, March 14, 60th St. south to 45th St. Ocean City. Annual parade & festival celebrates the “wearin o’ the green.” An Ocean City tradition with over 100 entrants including marching bands, floats, law enforcement groups & more.
